The NBA Panel covered the 2018 Allen Iverson Roundball Classic at Souderton Area High School in the Philadelphia Suburbs on April 21st. The 2018 Iverson Classic, a game founded by NBA Hall of Famer Allen Iverson was an amazing event filled with some of the top recruits in the nation. The two teams Team Honor, and Team Loyalty put on a show displaying talent, keeping the stadium on its feet all night.
Team Loyalty took the win 148-134 over Team Honor in a game that was nothing less than spectacular. Led by University of Villanova recruit Jahvon Quinerly Loyalty kept the pressure on Team Honor all night. Jahvon continuously showed drive after drive to the basket why he’s bringing a stronger dynamic to the defending NCAA champions.
Team Honor was led by Gate City High School Star Mac McClung. Mac was the center of attention during the Iverson Classic and showed out in the final night of events. Fans rose as McClung showed his handles, and threw down unbelievable dunks over and over. Mac closed Allen Iverson Weekend the only way he knew how, by impressing the man himself Allen Iverson with a mesmerizing slam dunk.
The Iverson Roundball Classic is truly a one of a kind event with a bright future ahead.
