The NBA Panel covered the Delaware 87ers as they took on the Cleveland Cavaliers G League affiliate the Canton Charge at the Bob Carpenter Center on February 13th. The Sevens lost a competitive game to the Canton Charge by the score of 110-108, as they failed to hit a 3 point shot in the closing seconds.
Turnovers plagued the 87ers throughout the game and would prove to be costly in the end. The game was fairly close with lead changes throughout the contest. Leading scorers for the Sevens were Askia Booker, and Shawn Long whom both scored 21 PTS in strong efforts to try to push the 87ers to victory. The Canton Charge were led by Kevin Olekaibe whom scored 33 PTS to keep the Charge in position throughout to pull out the win. This was one of the most hard fought games that the 87ers played all season, and the disappointment showed as the clock expired.
With the loss the Delaware 87ers drop to 14-22 on the season
