The NBA Panel covered the 2021 NBA Finals

July 21, 2021

The NBA Panel covered the 2021 NBA Finals. The NBA Panel was granted virtual media access to cover the 2021 NBA Finals between the Phoenix Suns & Milwaukee Bucks. This years NBA Finals didn’t feature the regulars we’re used to seeing, it was a matchup of two cities hungry for a Title. The Milwaukee Bucks overcame a 2-0 deficit winning 4 straight games to beat the Suns 4-2 to win the 2021 NBA championship, & their first in 50 years. Giannis Antetokoumnpo put up an epic 50 PT performance in game 6 & was named Finals MVP. With media access I was able to ask Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer how he liked the teams next man up mentality. The Phoenix Suns had a great season, and everyone was on the same page saying there’s no moral victories. Chris Paul was disappointed, but said it’s right back to work for him. It was a honor for the NBA Panel to cover its first NBA Finals, & def is looking forward to covering its next in person.
