The NBA Panel covered the defending NCAA D1 champion Villanova Wildcats as they took on the Quinnipiac Bobcats at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia PA. November 10th. Villanova came out strong in this contest and never looked back as they cruised to a 86-53 win at home. The Wildcats used smothering defense and waves of offense to keep Quinnipiac on the ropes all game. Villanova was led in scoring by Phil Booth’s 23 PTS, and Collin Gillespie added 16. The Bobcats leading scorer was Cameron Young who put up 18 PTS in the losing effort. The Villanova Wildcats will have a target on their back all season as the current champs, and coach Jay Wright will have them prepared.
