The NBA Panel covered the Delaware 87ers as they took on the Cleveland Cavaliers Developmental League Affiliate the Canton Charge at the Bob Carpenter Center on Wednesday February 22nd. The 87ers won a high scoring affair 115-109 by keeping turnovers to a minimum, and controlling the pace of the game from start to finish. Russ Smith led the way with 24 points. He was aggressive throughout the game creating for himself and finding open teammates. Aaron Harrison poured in 15 points, and hit shots at crucial points to help the cause. Nate Robinson had a bounce back game with 14 points and looked more comfortable on the floor within the offense. Nate was finding teammates and creating his own shot, the extra practice sessions showed it helped with team chemistry. Shawn long overcame a rough start from picking up 2 early fouls and played a strong 2nd half to finish with 13 points. Carlos Lopez was huge off the bench adding 13 points sparking the 87ers with his instant offense. His play was crucial in helping the 87ers get the win. The 87ers are now 19-16 on the season
