The NBA Panel covered the defending NCAA D1 champions Villanova vs Georgetown on February 3rd at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia PA. Nova (18-4) beat Georgetown (14-8) 77-65. The Wildcats overcame bad shooting in the 1st half to pull away down the stretch led by Collin Gillespie’s 30 PTS. Eric Paschall also put up 24 PTS for Villanova, and Phil Booth came on strong late adding 14 to help the winning cause. Georgetown’s leading scorer was James Akinjo who put up 19 PTS.
