The NBA Panel covered the 2024 Big 5 Classic at Wells Fargo Center. Game one of the Big 5 Classic featured Penn vs Drexel. Drexel came away with a 60-47 win over Penn led by Cole Hargrove’s 17 points to finish in fifth place.
Game 2 of the Big 5 Classic put Villanova vs Temple. Villanova won the 2nd contest of the evening easily, beating the Temple Hawks 94-65. Villanova was led in scoring by Eric Dixon who finished with 24 PTS. With the win the Wildcats finish 3rd in the Classic.
The Championship game had Saint Joseph’s vs LaSalle. Saint Joseph’s defended their Big 5 Championship by defeating LaSalle . Erik Reynolds II led the Hawks in scoring with 24 PTS. Once again the Big 5 Classic didn’t disappoint, delivering a great day of Basketball. Wells Fargo is always a great venue, host.
