Game 1 of the Classic featured Drexel Dragons vs. LaSalle Explorers. La Salle came away with the 69-64 win over Drexel. Josiah Harris put up 21 pts in the victory. Garfield Turner put up 12 points for Drexel who fell short in their 2nd half run.
Game 2 matched the Saint Joseph’s Hawks vs. Temple Owls. In a close game the Saint Joseph’s Hawks won a thriller over Temple 70-69 on a Deuce Jones 3PT buzzer beater. Deuce finished with 17 PTS for the Hawks, while Derrian Ford led the Owls with 27 PTS.
Game 3 set up the University of Pennsylvania vs. Villanova Wildcats in the Big 5 Classic Championship. The Villanova Wildcats won the 2025 Big 5 Classic Championship defeating the University of Pennsylvania 90-63. Villanova was led in scoring by Bryce Lindsay’s 18 PTS, and a strong 2nd half. TJ Power, Michael Zanoni, and Cam Thrower all finished with 11 PTS for Penn.
