The NBA Panel covered the Philadelphia 76ers G League affiliate Delaware Blue Coats training camp on October 23rd at the Sixers training facility in Camden NJ. The Blue Coats are coming off a excellent draft in which they picked up Marcus Marshall, Jordan Downing, and Kameron Rooks. All 3 players will be key in the teams transition into their new facility, and creating a winning culture. New head coach Connor Johnson is anxious to get the season started, and his extensive background in player development will be beneficial.
The team ran sets and continued to get acclimated with each other on the floor. Players were communicating and helping each other on the floor, which will translate to wins during the season. The Sixers organization is family orientated, and it shows in the G League affiliate also. This group will come together fast and make noise in the league.
