The NBA Panel covered the NCAA D1 Penn Quakers as they took on the defending champion Villanova Wildcats on DEC 11th at the Palestra in Philadelphia PA. This game lived up to the hype as Penn (9-2) beat Villanova (8-3) 78-75 in a thriller. Both teams battled trading leads until the Quakers took control down the stretch. Penn was led in scoring by AJ Brouder and Antonio Woods with 16 PTS a piece. Villanova’s leading scoring leader was Colin Gillespie with 21 PTS, Phil Booth added 18. Penn has shown it’s a force to be taken seriously.
