The NBA Panel covered the NCAA D1 St. Joseph’s Hawks on November 12th as they played the Monmouth Hawks at the Hagan Arena in Philadelphia PA. St. Joseph’s and Monmouth played a first half both teams were anxious to put behind. St. Joseph’s shot 32% while Monmouth hit only 28% of their shots. Lamarr Kimble who finished with 19 PTS was aggressive getting to the line, to help keep St. Joseph’s ahead at the half 29-23.
The 2nd half belonged to Charlie Brown who finished with 21 PTS, after only putting up 2 in the first half. St. Joseph’s uses his outburst to pull away comfortably and beat Monmouth 78-63. With this win the Hawks move to 2-0 on the season and are coming together as a unit on the floor.
