The NBA Panel covered the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden. Game one of the Jimmy V Classic featured the BYU Cougars vs Clemson Tigers. BYU won an instant classic beating Clemson 67-64 on a buzzer beater by Justin Porter. BYU’s leading scorer was projected top lottery pick AJ Dybantsa who finished with 28 PTS. BYU battled back from a 21 PTS deficit to pull out the win.
Game 2 of the Jimmy V Classic put the Florida Gators vs UConn Huskies. UConn held on to win a close game 77-73 over Florida behind 19 PTS from Solo Ball. Florida was KD in scoring by Xaivion Lee who put up 19 PTS. The Jimmy V Classic was once again a huge success, it was a pleasure coveting the event for the first time, and look forward to covering it again.
