The NBA Panel covered the Philadelphia 76ers vs. New Zealand Breakers preseason matchup at Wells Fargo Center. The 76ers opened their 2024-25 preseason with an impressive 139-84 win over New Zealand. Tyrese Maxey had a strong performance putting up 15 PTS in 12 minutes to set the tone for the Sixers. Philadelphia got great effort from everyone across the board as 6 players finished in double digits. Joel Embiid, and Paul George were both DNP’s for the first preseason game. New Zealand was led in scoring by Parker Jackson Cartwright who finished with 26 PTS.
